Vaccination and Wellness Care
Vaccinations & Wellness Care
Preventative care is the key to a long, healthy life for your pet.
Regular wellness care and vaccinations are essential for maintaining your pet’s health and preventing serious diseases and parasites. Depending on your pet’s life stage, we recommend either annual or biannual comprehensive exams to ensure their well-being. We tailor every care plan to meet the unique needs of your pet and family—because one size does not fit all.
What to Expect During Your Pet’s Wellness Visit
- Discuss your pet’s history, lifestyle, and health goals with the veterinarian.
- Check your pet’s weight and evaluate if a nutritional or exercise program may help.
- Perform a nose-to-tail physical exam, including oral health assessment.
- Recommend dental treatments or preventative care if needed.
- Conduct specialized blood tests based on your pet’s life stage and findings.
Pet Vaccinations: Protecting Against Serious Diseases
We prioritize safe and effective vaccination schedules, considering your pet’s lifestyle and local disease risks. Our doctors thoroughly research contagious diseases in our area and explain every vaccine your pet receives, ensuring you understand its purpose.

Parasite Prevention and Detection
Parasites harm your pet by causing diseases and depriving them of essential nutrients. During your visit, we’ll discuss prevention and detection strategies for common external parasites like fleas, ticks, and mites, and internal parasites such as roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms.
Heartworm: This serious disease is transmitted by mosquitoes and can be fatal if untreated. A blood test can determine infection, and preventive treatments are available at our clinic.
Early detection and treatment of parasites are vital to your pet’s health. Please bring a stool sample to your pet’s appointment for testing. Complimentary fecal collection kits are available at our clinic.
