Emily

Receptionist / Lab Tech
Meet Emily, a dedicated lab technician and receptionist at Willamette Valley Animal Hospital. Joining the WVAH team in February 2024, Emily brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for working with animals.

Originally from Missouri but raised in the suburbs of Portland, Emily's journey has taken her through various work environments, including a recent role as a full-time funeral director. However, her heart has always been with animals, a passion she cultivated during her high school years spent caring for a diverse range of animals on a 10-acre farm, from chickens to cattle. Emily's involvement in FFA further solidified her love for animals as she raised goats, pigs, and sheep for breeding and market purposes.

Currently pursuing her studies in psychology at OSU, Emily has her sights set on a masters degree in clinical mental health. In her free time, she enjoys the great outdoors, listening to vinyl records, and wrangling her three beloved pets; a senior dog and two playful cats.

With her diverse experiences and unwavering dedication to animal care, Emily is a valuable asset to the WVAH team, ensuring that every furry friend receives the attention and care they deserve.
